ContentSutra Exclusive: TV18 Buys Interactive Agency Urban Eye

An exclusive from our sister Indian site ContentSutra: Television Eighteen Group, the big Indian TV and online media company, has acquired Mumbai-based interactive ad agency Urban Eye Media, in an attempt to ramp up its ambitious online plans.
TV 18 has some big web plans, and had spun-off its web business into a separate company called Web18. Urban Eye is likely to be a major component of Web 18. TV 18 group had announced revenues of $1 million in Q1 of this year solely from its internet businesses.
