Based on conversations with two retailers briefed by Microsoft, TWICE is reporting that the new Zune will have a suggested retail price of $299, a 30G hard drive, have WiFi and come in three colors. The display screen is larger than the video iPod. One retailer told TWICE Microsoft said it would continue to support Plays For Sure, reinforcing was the company has said publicly. The retailers also were told users won’t be able to use the WiFi to buy songs on the go. TWICE says Microsoft hasn’t responded to its queries.
