This role will be responsible for business development and account management of North America wireless carrier relationships. This position will negotiate, develop, implement deal terms and maintain key carrier relationships. Primary responsibilities include management of product launches and ongoing deliveries, monitoring and increasing carrier sales activity, presenting new content ideas, customer service inquiries, and coordination of various marketing activities. This position will be the expert for the carriers they are responsible for and provide competitive feedback to product development and marketing teams to use toward product enhancements and better customer communication.
-Account Management responsibilities:
-Start, negotiate and complete business deal terms
-Develop strong relationship with carrier to ensure optimal business results
-Monitor sales activity, flag areas for improvement, and identify opportunities
-Pitch new content ideas for carrier approval and for business development feedback
-Field and resolve carrier customer service inquiries
Management of product launch and ongoing deliveries:
-Work with Submissions and product development to verify content and handset specifications
-Manage the production and delivery of the content to the carrier
-Use reporting feedback and company synergy events to provide content that optimizes sales
-Monitor carrier websites and handset WAP sites to ensure proper presentation of Disney and 3rd party products
-Develop and execute carrier deck strategy to ensure premium placement of IP
Coordinate marketing activities with marketing group:
-Bring marketing ideas from carriers to marketing group.
-Involve appropriate groups for marketing discussions for specific events, PR, or other opportunities.
-Obtain brand approvals within Disney and with 3rd party content providers
-Work with marketing managers to incorporate marketing programs to carrier pitches
