The Manager, Retention Marketing will report to the Director Retention Marketing and manage project-based assignments related to existing subscriber retention and growth for Disney Mobile, across multiple channels. The Retention Marketing team will be instrumental in developing and implementing the company’s brand loyalty and customer satisfaction strategies.
Primary responsibilities:
-Collaborating on setting subscriber retention goals/plans, developing marketing plans and continually monitoring/modifying them as needed to meet retention and churn goals for all channels
-Managing daily activities of outside creative, internet and/or direct marketing agencies and resources from agency selection, creative brief development, concept refinement/selection, production and fulfillment
-Analyzing and responding to marketing channel performance against target retention and churn goals, including financial analysis
-Contributing to messaging, targeting, impressions and placement for all channels
-Developing sections of retention promotions specific to key target segments, as assigned
-Collaborating on handoff of online web sales via Disneymobile.com and recommending site modifications as necessary
-Producing awareness and retention-related internet marketing communications, working in partnership with Disney Internet Group and internal/external agencies
-Producing retention-related marketing communications via other marketing channels as assigned–may include mix of mass marketing channels (TV, radio, print, out of home), marketing via Disney lines of business, direct marketing and retail marketing
-Manage Associate Retention Marketing and provide direction to interns as required
-Participate in reviews (including legal) of marketing materials as needed; contribute to PR strategy as needed
-Collaborate on development of consumer research where applicable
-Will manage one or more direct reports and will indirectly support all other team leads
-Contributing to homepage and shopping experience online at Disneymobile.com
QUALIFICATIONS:
-5-7+ years overall experience in Marketing or related field
-2-3+ years marketing experience post-MBA with progressively increasing responsibility
-Experience with advertising and promotions
-Bachelor degree with MBA from top-tier school
-Quantitative analysis and/or data-driven reporting skills
-Proven blend of business and technical skills as well as a successful track-record of applying quantitative decision-making techniques in a business-setting
-Excellent written and verbal communications skills
-Strong creative, consumer and business analytical skills
-Ability to manage details of the creative process
-Outstanding project management skills and the ability to keep many balls in the air at once
-Strong management/coaching abilities
-Experience developing and implementing retail, mass and direct marketing campaigns
-Experience managing online marketing programs
