New Enterprise Associates Launches $105 Million India Fund


Updated: New Enterprise Associates (NEA), one of the largest VC funds, has floated a fund for India in partnership with two Indian entrepreneurs in the US. The fund christened NEA IndoUS Ventures is sponsored by NEA and will have two Silicon Valley entrepreneurs Vani Kola and Vinod Dham (father of the Pentium chip) as partners. Kola has already shifted to Bangalore.
NEA had recently raised a $2.5 billion fund, the second largest VC fund ever.
Updated: Silicon Beat reports that the size of the fund is $105 million.
