Digital video compression firm Tandberg Television has made another acquisition: it has bought out LA-based online video tools provider Zetools. The financial terms were not disclosed.
Zetools, founded in 2001, has developed online video services/tools for AOL, MTV, RealNetworks, iFilm, and others. For Tandberg, which has mainly operated on the TV/VOD/IPTV side of things, this means its expansion into the online video sector.
