The Economic Times: Springer India, part of world-leading academic publisher Springer, has launched its digitised book collection in India. It will cater to researchers and students in the scientific, technical and medical field in the country. “Springer would initially bring about 10,000 scientific, technical and medical books in electronic format and add nearly 3,000 new titles every year,” Springer India Managing Director Sanjiv Goswami said.
The main focus for Springer would be books and journals on subjects like science, technology and medicine and would cater to high end research requirement of students and academics. Spring has one of the largest collection of ebooks and online journals on academic subjects.
