Mophap Gets Seed Investment

MOHAP LogoMobile advertising company Mophap (mow-fap) has garnered some seed funding from “a group of Boston-based angels and individual investors”…it’s not revealing how much but a spokesman for the company told me “the seed will serve as a bridge to Series A, which the company is now under due diligence for and hopes to have completed by the year’s end”. Mophap does interstitial advertising, showing ads in the times when the phone is transfering from one WAP page to another.
Mophap has also hired Rick Landsman as Chief Technology Officer…he previously served as co-founder and CTO of Unicast Communications Corp, also a developer of interstitial advertising server technology. Finally Harry Ruda, already on the company’s Board of Advisors, has been named to Mophap’s Board of Directors.
