Mobile Marketing Engagement Director

The Engagement Director is the key link between the Sales and Client Services functions, and is responsible for:
i) contributing to the development of each prospect’s mobile strategy at pitch stage
ii) overseeing the delivery of that strategy by the Client Services team once the client has engaged the company
iii) assuming responsibility for CS budgeting and revenue projections from existing client base
Working closely with client marketing directors and brand managers the Engagement Director holds the key strategic and commercial relationship and is responsible for:
a) Developing the client strategy for the mobile channel
b) Maximising revenues from the account
c) Liaising with the Client Services team to ensure delivery of the client’s mobile program
The Engagement Director works with the VP Client Services to oversee the account team in the first class delivery of services and technology to the clients, and holds the key strategic relationship.
RESPONSIBILITIES
— Strategic Development (New & Existing Clients) Work closely with the sales team at prospect stage, and with each new client from the time of engagement to devise and develop an objective-led mobile strategy for delivery by the Client Services team. Conceive inspiring, compelling and creative ideas to maintain on-going client relationship and maximise revenue opportunities. Manage clients’ expectations on all aspects of their mobile program.
— Client services: Liase with the VP Client Services to devise initial project timelines and optimise the effective delivery of each client’s mobile program.
— Business development: Maximise revenue from existing accounts by cross selling new products, promoting recent product enhancements and developing new contacts/brand opportunities. Assist the Business Development team in securing new accounts – working on initial proposals and pitch development. Build rapport with prospective clients by building trust and appreciation of advice and delivery-potential.
— Pricing: Calculate pricing proposals inline with client budgets and company’s pricing policy. Present pricing proposition and negotiate profitable deals for the company.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
— Senior Account Manager or Account Director with interactive agency or marketing services experience across a wide range of industry sectors
— Experience with devising and managing wireless marketing campaigns (either carrier, client or agency-side)
— Experience in Direct Marketing
— Strong strategic background
