Update: Ashish Kashyap, the country head of sales at Google India, has quit. Our sources at Google have confirmed that he doesn’t work with the online search giant any more.
AlooTechie had reported that Kashyap left Google. He was believed to be moving into South African media company Naspers-MIH as CEO of its Indian operations. Kashyap could not be contacted.
Naspers is launching in India. The South Africa-based multinational media company has presence in electronic media, including pay-television, internet and instant-messaging, and print media, including magazines, newspapers and books.
Prior to Google, Kashyap was the General Manager & Business Head of E-Commerce at Indiatimes.com.
