Operative: Senior Consultant Online Media

As part of the Operative Revenue Operations Group, we seek a Senior Consultant who will be working with our online media publishing clients to analyze and improve their end-to-end online publishing operations with a primary focus on sales, ad operations and finance functions.
The individual chosen will be tasked with working closely with our client partners to fully understand their business challenges and bring together data and client feedback to create actionable recommendations that the client can put to use across their various online publishing operations.
This person will be expected to bring to bear process and online advertising expertise as well as keen analytical faculties to come up with process and innovation solutions that will enable publishers to work more effectively and generate more revenue with available and recommended resources.
The Consultant will be expected to generate new processes and solutions for clients and to partner closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to sell and deliver those ideas.
Core Duties/Responsibilities:
– The Consultant will be responsible for gather facts (primary and secondary data) and analyzing an online media publisher’s business from end to end (business processes, roles and responsibilities, technology providers, communication protocols and operational models)
– Once Discovery is complete, the Consultant will work with internal resources throughout Operative to analyze the data set, draw conclusions, prepare final reports and give presentations to Director, VP and C-level client leaders.
– Must be able to self-direct and work effectively with client and internal support teams at all levels of either organization.
– Must function as a team member in a dynamic, time-constrained and widely variant client environment in order to ensure that milestones are hit and projects are delivered on time and with a high degree of professionalism.
– The Consultant must be able to work to improve the effectiveness of existent client processes and resources as well as develop and recommend innovative and efficient new processes that deliver operational savings and increased revenue to the publisher client partner.
Qualifications:
Strong and proven track record of consulting with Fortune 500/internet media companies
Excellent work ethic and leadership skills
Self-motivated, team-oriented, very responsible, and passionate about exceeding client expectations.
Knowledge of and experience with online advertising, online ad sales web analytics and web measurement technologies.
Understanding of enterprise internet business models and online processes, terminology, concepts and strategies.
Knowledge of Ad-serving technologies, Online Media Publishing Tools and Reporting and Analysis packages.
Strong understanding of HTML, JavaScript, cookies, tagging and web protocols.
Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills – both verbal and written
Demonstrated ability to deal with change and excel in high-stress situations.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, Analysis and Presentation tools.
Education and/or Experience
– Bachelor’s degree required.
– 3-5 years Online Publishing, Ad Sales Operations, Online Ad Operations or Technology/Management Consulting Experience
– Previous Fortune 500 Consulting Experience

– Six-Sigma Certification, Certified Operations Expertise.
– Consulting Experience with Major Technology/Management Consultants e.g Accenture, Deloitte, Bearing Point, McKinsey, BCG.
