Hanover reports to Deanna Brown, who’s heading the product efforts in this vertical.
— Schutte Upped to VP, Publishing Dir. Wired Media: Conde Nast has promoted Wired vp, publisher Drew Schutte to the new position of VP, publishing director of Wired Media, which not only includes the magazine, but also seven Web channels. Succeeding Schutte at Wired will be Jay Lauf, most recently associate publisher. Paul van de Kamp will continue on as director of national sales for Wired News.

— Big Fish Names Big-time President: Seattle based online gaming firm Big Fish Games has hired Jeremy Lewis, a managing director at New York-based investment bank Goldman Sachs, as its new president and COO. At the same time, Big Fish is expanding its staff and is aiming to hire 50 to 70 new employees by the end of the year.
— Penton Media names Shanfelt senior VP of eMedia: Penton Media has promoted Eric Shanfelt to senior VP-eMedia strategy and development. Shanfelt joined Penton in 2000.
