Robbie Williams Mobile Phenomenon Expands To Latin America

Robbie Williams will tour Latin America in October, and he’s taking his assortment of mobile deals with him. Sony Ericsson will use it to push its Walkman phones with its Robbie Williams branded phone, which will deliver exclusive content based on tour. I’m not sure whether this will be the same sort of content offered in Europe, which would require networks a fair bit better than those used by most Latin Americans. Still, there are carriers in the region launching 3G networks and those users would be able to enjoy the high-end services. The tour will include Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Mexico and content will be available in 19 countries in the region — Central America, Uruguay, Paraguay, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela and the Caribbean.
