Marketing Manager (Retention), NYC

0 Comments, is in search of a Marketing Manager to pilot innovative web and email-based programs designed to retain our qualified customers. The Manager will provide the inspiration, vision and dynamic leadership behind these programs which are designed to meet the specific needs of our various customer segments. By increasing value perception and brand loyalty, the Manager’s initiatives will reinforce relationships with our existing customer base.
— Develop, implement, and manage retention programs.
— Track and report performance across numerous retention metrics.
— Work with the Customer Service team and strategic partners to implement and manage programs on a daily basis that will ensure an outstanding customer experience and increase subscriber retention.
— Work with marketing and creative teams to concept, test and evaluate new methods or messages that will drive the highest response and profitability from target consumers.
— Evaluate current attrition performance levels. Propose and lead the development of strategies and supporting tactics across all customer segments that will drive measurable, sustainable retention improvement within the existing customer portfolio.
— Interact with other teams and departments to facilitate continuous process improvements that result in service which will consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.
— Ensure sales and marketing requirements are implemented into customer retention and loyalty programs.
— Work with customer service to handle cancellation requests (attempt to save accounts, identify future sales opportunities, and document cancellation reasons).
— Create and maintain a customer reference database for use by Sales and Marketing.
— 2-3 years of online marketing experience
— Membership/subscription marketing experience strongly preferred
— Strong knowledge of direct marketing principles and practices
— Interest in investing and/or brokerage concepts a plus
— Excellent project management skills with ability to multi-task and work well within a fast paced, deadline environment
— Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills, including business writing and presentation
— Extensive experience with Excel a plus
