Britons ‘Dependent On Mobile Use’

Yougov polled 16,500 people across the UK to find out how they use their mobile phone, and came up with the sort of answers you’d expect…
–“The younger generation puts their mobile ahead of television, with most 18 to 24-year-olds thinking it matters more to them than their TV.”
–“21% of the people polled admitted using a mobile as a means to stop people approaching them.”
It also attempts to classify mobile users into one of six “tribes”, based on age, marital status and general lifestyle.
