Microsoft’s Zune Music Project: More Details: Wif-Fi Player, Video Down the Line

Update: the Billoard story is open now, here.
Officially Microsoft is not saying anything more besides what I mentioned in the post below, but it gave an exclusive to Billboard magazine, along with an interview with Chris Stephenson, Microsoft’s new GM of marketing for MSN Entertainment
The story is here online, though behind a subscription wall. We have some details:
— Will not just be music but other kinds, like video, but music will be first.
— Additional Zune-branded devices will follow, including a portable video player and, potentially, a portable game device (interesting coz it might tie into speculation)
— Music device will have Wi-Fi
— Service will have music social networking features, ability to share playlists and sample tracks, discovery & recommendation etc.
— According to Stephenson, Zune is not a relaunch of the MSN service, but rather a new branded service altogether…not sure what will happen to it.
