Broadband TV Aggregator Firm Gets $16.7 Million Funding

UK-based video/TV aggregation firm Aggregator Limited has received about $16.7 million in first round funding. The round was co-led by 3i, Amadeus Capital Partners and Intel Capital.
Aggregator, founded in 2005 with seed investment from Amadeus Capital Partners, has developed online video delivery technologies and a content portfolio, and will launch in fall this year. Besides online, it will integrate its programming with Freeview, UK’s free TV platform, and make its services available on TV.
