Comedy Central, TV Land Surf at TCA: MTVN’s nets Comedy Central and TV Land broke with press tour tradition by emphasizing broadband. TV Land detailed plans for its broadband channel launching Aug. 24 — think retro commercials and “Beam me up, Scotty” — while Comedy Central previewed shows from successful Motherload; the channel has delivered more than 50 million streams since its November 2005 launch.
