While I doubt it will rival the "History of the World" audience that Mel Brooks enjoyed, you can catch a history of the UMPC with Otto Berkes over on YouTube. What’s most surprising to me is that I expected Otto to be ultra-small, like around 3′ 2", but no, he’s actually full size. Seriously, this is a four-and-a-half minute overview of how the UMPC arrived also where Microsoft hopes to take this class of device. More importantly as noted by Bjorn Stromberg, Otto shows a prototype motherboard that is roughly half the size of the boards in today’s UMPCs.
