Financial Times (via MSNBC): Barring the US and Canada, India contributed the highest number of bogus clicks, a bane of online advertising. If 88 per cent of all the click frauds originated from the US and Canada, India contributed the most from outside North America, according to a research by Click Forensics, a monitoring service for advertisers. In India, bogus clicks grew by 26 per cent in the second quarter, says the report. Overall, the click fraud is on a rise too. The “Click Fraud Index” showed that bogus clicks increased from 13.7 per cent in the first quarter to 14.1 per cent in the second.
