Two teams manage distribution sales, Turner Network Sales domestically and TBS International outside the U.S. These teams negotiate subscription sales with over 2,500 cable and satellite companies.
CAREER OPPORTUNITY
The Business Development Team within Turner Network Sales is currently recruiting for 3 newly created Director level positions for their team in Atlanta, GA. These positions will be responsible for bringing in non-linear licensing revenue on behalf of all the Turner brands. The Director will be a deal oriented executive while focused on prospecting, selling, negotiating and servicing clients. The Director will be part of a deal team managing external client relationships and helping clients maximize value from licensed Turner programming and subsequent marketing efforts. In addition, the Director will have internal clients among the Turner brands where he/she will be responsible for helping develop new products for the marketplace, assisting in marketing and branding efforts with partner clients and helping set interactive strategy with the respective Turner networks/brands.
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with excellent sales and negotiation skills who also has a complete understanding of new technology platforms and knowledge of interactive product creation. These individuals must have the ability to build and manage complex relationships. A qualified candidate for the Director positions will have at least 7-10 years of experience in business development and new technology with a demonstrated track record of success in all facets of developing new business and partners. Strong communication ability and team oriented skills are necessary for success in these roles. An MBA is preferred. Relocation is available to non-Georgia residents .
