Here is an interesting yet-to-be launched Indian travel blog – oktatabyebye. Currently, it’s running a contest, for which it claims to have received tremendous response. The site has also thrown away Rs 50,000 to a winner who would travel for 15 days to seven destinations, and then blog about them. Essentially, it intends to build a online travel community. The site doesn’t have the details of the backers of the venture. It looks like a mighty online travel booking company – possibly MakeMyTrip.com – is behind it. Anyways, it’s a nice concept, and has created a lot of buzz.
