Mobile content company Juice Wireless has secured another $1 million funding, but this time from a strategic investor, Citizens Communications Company, which offers telecom services in rural and underserved markets in the United States. Juice had in May this year received a VC funding of $4 million from 21ventures.
With the new deal, Juice and Citizens will work together to sell and distribute Juice’s products and services. In January, Juice launched its JuiceCaster networking site, which will essentially create online communities and consumer-generated content such as blogs.
