Industry Moves: MSN UK; NYTD; Ten Digital; Turner

– Gillian Kent has resigned as country manager of MSN UK following three years in the job, ending a 15-year career at Microsoft. She said she would “pursue other opportunities” following the decision. MSN is yet to announce a replacement.
— NYTimes.com has appointed Robert Larson as VP, product development and management. He will supervise the site’s incorporation of expanded search, interactivity and new devices such as Times Reader. He will also oversee the effort to build out key content areas and distribute news and information onto mobile platforms.
— Australian TV network Ten has appointed Damian Smith as GM of its digital media division. Smith is currently CEO of Sydney-based software company Nuix.
— Turner Network has promoted Jon Bradway to director of VOD…he will oversee internal and outsourced operations to execute the distribution of Turner network content across the VOD platform to support ad sales, programming and marketing.
