Microsoft Plans Big Push To Its Mobile Mail Plans In India

Business Standard: Microsoft is planning a big push to its Windows Mobile- services in India. It already has partners like- iMate,- HP,- O2 and Eten in India for mobile mail.- The Redmond-based tech giant is however looking at giving BlackBerry a tough competition by launching some- 15 handset models initially. The prices will- start from around Rs 15,000, just as- BlackBerry 7100g- is priced.- Microsoft service is going to be based on “push” model where the mail will be automatically downloaded onto the mobile.- What will also- help MS will be- that it already has- around 2000 enterprises in India- which currently host Microsoft Exchange servers.
