Indian Government Clears Reuters’ Investment In Times Global Broadcasting

The Financial Express: The Indian government has cleared Reuters Group Plc plans to inves t in Times Global Broadcasting Co Ltd’s news and current affairs television channel. It was one of the 20 foreign investment plans worth Rs 7.62 billion approved by Finance Minister P Chidambaram. Reuters and The Times of India group run a 24-hour news and current affairs television channel Times Now. This is the formal stamp of approval of the Rs 221 million investment by Reuters in Times Global Broadcasting by the government.
