Nokia has announced plans for another commercial mobile TV trial in Sweden, this one with radio and TV operator Teracom. Last week Nokia announced a trial with mobile operator TeliaSonera. Both trials are DVB-H, of course. While in most countries it is the mobile operators who are looking to set up a mobile broadcast
network other countries, notably America and Italy, have stand-alone companies setting up the network. This is the first country I’ve heard of where the two strategies are mixed.
