AOL and Fusion Entertainment are pairing up in a joint venture to launch Lat34.com, a broadband sports channel. (Ijn case, you’re latitude challenged, its named for the company’s LA location — 34 degrees N/118 degrees W.) Jeep is on board as the charter sponsor for the site, scheduled to be beta through the summer. The new channel also emphasizes interaction — don’t they all? — and will make use of AOL’s AIM and AIMPages. Jeff Rowe is the president and CEO of Lat34.com. Release.
