Mobile Watershed Dropped

The proposal in New Zealand to port the watershed from free-to-air television to mobile video (where carriers could stream adult content (nudity, drug use, violence and strong language) without age restrictions after a certain time) has been dropped. “The watershed is becoming an increasingly antiquated means of restricting content,” said Laura Chamberlain. “It is not an appropriate replacement for access controls.”
It’s looking like they want to ditch it for TV, too…
