This should be music to content developers’ ears. Korea’s SK Telecom credits its content partners for its massive uptake of 3G services. More than half of its 19 million subscribers consume a variety of 3G-enabled services created by over 500 value-added content and service providers (two-third of them are third party developers). The telco also dishes out a healthy share of revenues to the content developers – 1:9 ratio in favor of the content developer-partner.
