CBS: Wireless Sports Content Producer (Job #1519)

The Wireless Sports Content Producer manages the development, ongoing maintenance, and enhancement of a group of wireless consumer products (wireless games, alerts, messaging, surveys, WAP site, etc.) S/he handles the roll-out of wireless sports product launches, promotions, and sales programs and tracks and reports the profitability of the product group.
Roles and Responsibilities:
-Assists Product Manager Sports, Wireless with industry and consumer research, competitive analysis, opportunity evaluation, and product definition.
-Project manages product development, updates, and enhancements; conducts QA.
-Collaborates with partners to implement and manage technical product features; supports ongoing partner relationships, and handles issues related to product malfunctions.
-Works cross-functionally with marketing, engineering, and CBS partners and anticipates and aggressively responds to business and technical issues.
-Takes ownership of issues and drives them to resolution in a timely fashion; operates independently, juggling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a results-oriented environment.
-Manages and reports metrics for growth of wireless business.
-Deploys pricing, promotion, placement and marketing tactics.
-Generates and sells ideas.
-Uses a diplomatic approach with internal and external partners and customers; excellent written and verbal communications skills, organizational skills.
-Graphic and media production skills and portfolio desired, but not essential.
Experience Requirements:
-1-3 years of experience in product management, product marketing, or technology project management with some understanding of consumer research, data mining, product strategy, pricing, and online promotion.
-Must be self-motivated, entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, challenged by accountability, and an innovator.
-Knowledge of and interest in mobile applications, wireless media, emerging mobile technologies, and online marketing.
-Understanding of wireless industry and mobile entertainment.
-Experience in the wireless or online content industries.
-Interest in sports, sports media, and knowledge of licensing.
-Knowledge or WAP a plus.
-Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, business writing skills required.
-Must be proficient in MS Office including Project.
College degree preferred.
