AOL: Sr. Business Analyst #55451, Dulles, VA (Wash DC Metro)

The Business Planning team within AOL Premium and Subscription Services seeks a Sr. Business Analyst to assist the Digital Media Services (DMS) team in optimizing premium music and video group profitability and performance. Analyst will help to analyze and create business cases for new initiatives & opportunities and track/ measure existing initiatives. Involvement in opportunity identification, financial & operational analysis and presentations. Work with finance and marketing on budget preparation, forecasting, planning, and assisting on business development deals. Building driver-based financial models for existing and emerging business initiatives, researching and analyzing key business drivers and operating metrics, and other ad hoc projects. Representing DMS team in the quarterly inventory allocation process (working with Finance to review the assumptions being used). Leading post-launch product reviews
Requirements:
Must have experience collecting information from numerous sources, working with incomplete data, presenting analyses to senior managers, and working within deadlines. B.S. in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting (M.B.A preferred) and 6+ years of related financial or business operations experience. Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel modeling skills required. Experience in Internet, and digital media, a plus. Expertise with subscription and premium service based business models. Database and segmentation experience a plus. Must be comfortable with managing multiple projects simultaneously and participating on several cross-functional teams. Must have strong communication, organizational, leadership and relationship building skills
