IDC On The “Mobile Music Bigger Than Online” Prediction

This post is pointing to an interview with Susan Kevorkian, program manager of consumer markets: audio at IDC, who answers some questions about mobile music and the reasoning behind the recent predictions. A few days ago IDC predicted that by 2010 the wirelessly downloaded music market would beat that of the online music market in the US — it’s already done that in some places such as Japan. Of course this was cast as mobile vs iTunes (Mobile music will beat iTunes et al by 2010, Let’s Face It. The iPod Is Doomed).
