Malaysian company M-Mode is hoping to return to profitability with new mobile java apps and an expansion into other markets. “In the financial year ended Dec 31, 2005, M-Mode posted a net loss of RM807,781 as the company’s revenue declined from RM11.15 million in FY04 to RM8.84 million…Lim said that the company was well on track to profitability based on its first- quarter result, which showed a net profit RM270,000 on revenue of RM2.7 million…Last year, M-Mode invested RM468,395 to acquire a 65% stake in Dalian MMode Dreamfun Technology Ltd and RM571,500 to incorporate a subsidiary, Beijing M-Mode Network Technology Ltd, in China.”
