BabyUniverse, the online baby-mother related e-commerce site, has bought out the assets of ePregnancy Magazine (discontinued last month) and ePregnancy.com. The purchase includes ePregnancy.com, trademark, a related online community site, message boards and a content archive.
ePregnancy, founded in 2002, is a resource for the expectant woman, offering information and an online community. BabyUniverse said it intends to focus its efforts on growing and supporting the online community at ePregnancy.com and does not intend to immediately revive the magazine.
