Sir Bob Geldof’s TV production company Ten Alps is drawing on its $20 million purchase of public sector contract publishing company McMillan-Scott to launch a new internet-based service, called Public TV. The public.tv website will go live towards the end of this year and Ten Alps’ recently established internet and digital TV division is currently working with third parties to develop video around the McMillan-Scott titles.
Public TV will give the UK’s 5.8 million public sector workers a single point where they can search for and view training and professional development video material on-demand.
