Malaysia’s mTouche To Acquire A Mobile Content Company In China

Malaysia’s mTouche Technology plans to acquire a mobile content company in China to strengthen its presence in that country. An acquisition is expected by end of this year, the company’s chairman and CEO Eugene Goh has said. “We have identified a few companies that suit our strategic acquisition. It could be mobile content-based provider. Hopefully, by end of this year, we will be able to carry out the new acquisition,” he told reporters.
It already has a joint venture company with Green Packet and OSK Ventures International in China, namely GMO Global Ltd. It is aiming to become the largest wireless content company in China. The new acquisition will be undertaken via GMO Global.
