Business Standard:
Bhuvan Lall has written a column on Eros Entertainment, the largest global distributor of Hindi films. Eros is one of our favourite companies too since it has plans to use digital media technologies to distribute movie content. Recently, it tied up with Movielink of the US for video on demand via broadband in the US. It also has plans for a $100 million IPO in London’s AIM exchange. “Digital entertainment is the next logical extension and a huge growth area for us, and technology is going to play a very important role in accelerating our online distribution initiatives,” Kishore Lulla (in the pic), Chairman of Eros, has been quoted here.
