Rajan Mehta To Quit Nortel India; To Set Up A Media Company

The Economic Times reports that Nortel India Vice President Rajan Mehta is quitting his job to start a media company. It doesn’t have the details of his venture. Mehta, however, will be continue to be on the board of Nortel. He was tipped to be the MD of the company in India. Since Mehta has been working in the telecom networks space, I am making an intelligent guess. It may be a mobile content company he is planning to start. Mehta is in the process of funding his venture with the help of VC firms, the report says. We will try to get more details from Mehta on his plans.
