AOL: Sr. Manager, Premium Education Services, Dulles, VA (DC Metro Area)

Reports to the Director, Premium Education Services. Senior Program Manager for Education Licensing will spearhead the development of a new market for AOL Premium Education Services, selling volume licenses to corporate clients that in turn will make them available to consumers. Is a highly entrepreneurial role in a dynamic, fast-growing Premium and Subscription Services (PaSS) business. AOL’s premium services include AOL Music Now and Winamp, online education services for K-12 students and parents, security and computing solutions, and downloadable casual games.
Responsibilities:
Work with Director Premium Education Services to build the Education licensing business from the ground up. Build, manage, pipeline of corporate clients by developing relationships with corporate clients. Manage the licensing business from end-to-end, including managing the development of marketing materials, communicating product requirements to product development, building and managing a client pipeline, meeting with clients, and negotiating and closing agreements. Work extensively with other stakeholders within the company, including senior management, product management, engineering, legal, marketing, and finance to develop solutions that meet licensing requirements
Qualifications:
— Prior experience with Internet content distribution and licensing, K12 Education experience preferred. Proven track of acquiring new business and building and maintaining client relationships. Ability to think strategically and creatively to pave new ground on developing licensing agreements
— Superior analytical/interpersonal skills, strong negotiation skills, and strong leadership, writing and communication skills. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Ability to function in a group setting. 4-8 years of business development and/or sales experience. Education/Equiv. Experience: Business Development, Sales, Consulting, other business-related discipline; MBA- Highly desirable.
