Not sure how significant this is, but worth noting: Yahoo (NSDQ: YHOO) is offering its own version of the upcoming Internet Explorer 7 browser to its users…this version sets Yahoo as the home page, has Yahoo search built into the browser, and opens Yahoo mail as the second open tag.
Yahoo used the beta version of the Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK) to customise IE7 which Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) has available to all developers and partners who want to create their own versions of IE7.
Last month Google (NSDQ: GOOG) failed in its bid to have the IE7 search box (which defaults to MSN search) changed
