– E Online: E! Networks is expanding its new media department with the promotion of Bill McLean to VP of new media and the appointment of Adrian Seto as senior manager for new media in Asia.
— Lifetime: A sign of Lifetime’s expanding commitment to digital. Instead of Lynn Picard splitting time between president-ad sales, GM-Lifetime Network and interactive, Dan Suratt is joining the network in the newly created position of EVP-digital media and business development. He’s leaving NBC Universal, where he has been VP-business and new media development for NBC Olympics since late 2004; he joined NBC in 1995. Suratt will be responsible for strategic, operational, editorial functions and business development efforts for Lifetimetv.com, Lifetime Wireless Network, and Lifetime Home Entertainment Network, and the interactive aspects of Lifetime Television, Lifetime Movie Network and Lifetime Real Women. He reports directly to Betty Cohen, president and CEO.
– Revver: CAA agent and packaging whiz David Tenzer is moving to Revver as head of media partnerships. Effective mid-July, he’ll report to CEO and co-founder Steven Starr. He told Variety he’ll focus on enouraging indie creators to upload and work with traditional media on viral video.
