DNA: India’s telecom regulator Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) has proposed to keep IPTV out of the Cable Television Networks (Regulation) Act. This may be a good thing since IPTV is an evolving technology and will not be mixed up with the definition of age-old cable services. So the Cable Act does not include video services offered- under Unified Access Service licence holders on their networks. Here are more details (pdf file).
