Reliance Communications To Launch Interactive TV, Broadband Services In Gulf

The Economic Times: Reliance Communications Ventures is launching its services in Gulf which will include interactive television, broadband and media solutions. The solution, called RiTV, will deliver on-demand entertainment, internet access and information services to its users. The service will be offered in association with Orbit Communications (OCC), a Bahrain-based communications company. It is being commercially launched for the hospitality sector in the Middle East. The company has done many trials over the last few months. Reliance is eyeing a market of the large five-star as well as the four-star hotels in the Gulf region which is being promoted as a tourist destination.
