Mobile ESPN Publishing: Associate, Carrier Relations, New York NY

This member of the Business Development Group would manage the day-to-day relationship with carrier partners in both the domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
— Serve as primary business contact to distribution partners in the U.S. and international markets.
— Through close communication with distribution partners, identify new revenue streams for Mobile ESPN Publishing through existing products and new projects.
— Communicate carrier initiatives, goals, and direction to MEP group on an ongoing basis. Recommend solutions to meet distributor priorities. Provide feedback to Product Management on carrier priorities and changes in industry dynamics.
— Evangelize value of ESPN to carriers to maximize ESPN exposure and business value in the mobile marketplace.
— Work with Product Management to deliver high quality concept submissions, product documents, and other collateral to distributors in a timely fashion.
— Liaise between ESPN Product Management / Marketing and the carrier partners to effectively manage expectations for product delivery.
— Monitor and ensure that MEP is delivering on contractual obligations with carrier partners, and vice-versa
— Distribute monthly newsletter to carrier contacts.
Key Skills:
— Detail-oriented
— Excellent presentation, business writing, and interpersonal skills
— Ability to connect strategic and financial goals of MEP business with those of carrier partners
— Minimum of two (2) years experience in mobile content
— Knowledge of sports
— Sales and/or business development background a plus.
