MusicIP, which was formerly called as Predixis and retooled its consumer-focused business to focusing on a B2B one, has received $2 million in funding, from J.L. Albright Venture Partners. The firm’s music recognition software is used in online and mobile music stores, for providing track identification and music discovery. Last year it raised $3 million, from the same investor.
