Samsung has hit Europe with the first mobile handset capable of tuning into DMB mobile TV broadcasts. “The DMB handset, the SGH-P900, will initially be sold in Germany where it will be able to pick up local service provider Debitel’s DMB transmissions, which started yesterday.”
There’s some more details of the DMB service at I4U: “The Watcha TV service is available for a monthly flat fee of 9,95 Euro in connection with a 24 month mobile phone contract from Debitel.” The handset will cost 199 euros. The Watcha site is here, in German.
