Choicestream, a Cambridge, MA-based online personalization solutions firm, has received $13.1 million of second round venture funding. The round was led by Sutter Hill Ventures. First round investors General Catalyst Partners and Sage Hill Partners also participated in the round.
Esther Dyson and venture advisor David Weiden of Khosla Ventures have joined the company’s advisory board. The funding will be used to accelerate the company’s growth in new markets, including e-retail, TV and mobile entertainment delivery.
Its existing clients include AOL, Yahoo, Starz Vongo, Akimbo and Movielink.
