@ D Conference: Martha, Sonnenfeld, Stringer, & The Goodie Bag

Yes, just name dropping…rather, name gawking. This is my first D conference, and the set-up is excellent, though not exactly designed for intimate panel and attendee interactions (Not quite the unconference, as you can imagine). But hey, I’m indulging in some celebrity and “celebrity-like” sightings: Martha Stewart (she looks much taller and bigger in person), Barry Sonnenfeld (with a cowboy hat and a hybrid getup), Sony CEO Howard Stinger (with a bunch of Sony acolytes trying to hang on his every word at the dinner table), RNWK CEO Rob Glaser (hunched over in animated conversation with someone, as usual), and others…
Me, I’ve learned to hide behind a camera and a laptop..much safer. The Flickr picture set for today is here.
And oh, the goodie bag…that’s the pic on the right…the exact contents of the biggest goodie bag ever given at a digital conference are recorded here by Barron’s Eric Savitz, who is also doing an excellent job blogging the conference. My favorite thing: an advance copy of The Long Tail, the new book from Wired editor Chris Anderson.
