As an example ofthe content which could be offered on the new service Sprint presents its NASCAR Nextel FanView device “The FanView service offers live race audio, as well as live video, race statistics and audio replay at NASCAR events. Sprint Nextel reported that it has 5,000 of the devices available and has rented out its entire inventory several times; the FanView rents for $50 per day or $70 for a race weekend, and the carrier said it expects to start selling the devices later this summer.”
